Bear claw and B’stilla Royale

Since today is my birthday, I had two (actually three) baked goods. I made a B’stilla Royale, a Moroccan sweet/savory pastry with almonds, raisins, shredded chickens, and a spice mixture called Ras Al-Hanout. I had this and a raspberry chocolate cake for my birthday party.

In the morning, I had an apple walnut bear claw from Sisters Coffee Company, with a honey cinnamon latte.
